This album is for serious jazz listeners and students. Of chief interest, this was the first time that Mark and Eddie's trio performed live; the tunes were generally unrehearsed. However, the result is as if the group had been touring together for years. All arrangements and harmonic reworkings had evidently been realized on the spot. These tracks are compelling, intricate and subtle. One musical peak after another!|
